Platen Operator / Print Finisher


Great opportunity to join a growing well-equipped digital print business established 23 years based in London specialising in short run, high end printed products.


Specific machine training given but a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the print industry is required.

Experience operating a Platen essential.


Responsibilities will include:

Working to tight production schedules in a safe and tidy manner.

Ensuring quality work is produced.

Operating a Kluge Platen Press for Foiling, Embossing & Diecutting

Laminating

Creasing

Folding

PUR binding

Booklet making

Hardback book making

Hand finishing

Plus a whole variety of other finishing.


The candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude, with the following personal attributes:

Ability to learn new skills.

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a team, as well as being self motivated.

Good organisational skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Reliable.

Physically fit.

Good co-ordination.


Salary: £28k-£35k per annum depending on experience.

Part Time, Full Time and Flexible Hours all considered.
