I’m working with a fast-growing fintech startup based in Manchester, currently scaling their development team. They’re a dynamic, innovative company with fewer than 20 employees, and they’re looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join their team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone eager to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly growing company.


The Role:

In this role, you’ll be working across both the front and back end, using Laravel as the core framework. You'll collaborate with a close-knit team to build new features and improve existing systems while also managing cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean. The company also offers the flexibility to work remotely, with a requirement to visit Manchester just once every two weeks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Laravel and related technologies.
  • Lead front-end development with VueJS or React, depending on your preference and expertise.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with a small, agile team on new product features and technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the company’s growth by driving innovation and solving complex technical problems.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience working with Laravel and its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in front-end development with VueJS or React.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment with occasional travel to Manchester (every two weeks).
  • A passion for problem-solving and an entrepreneurial mindset, with a keen interest in fintech and innovative technologies.
