Employee Relations / Performance Specialist – London

We are looking for a seasoned Employee Relations (ER) Specialist ready to support an ongoing transition to a high-performance culture.

This role is for our client who are a leading insurance company, based in Central London:

  • 3-month contract (to start end of Aug/early Sept)
  • Inside IR35
  • 1-2 days per week onsite


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Management: Provide expert support and coaching to a wide range of managers and stakeholders to enhance performance management within the organisation, specifically within under performance.
  2. ER Case Management: Review and resolve complex ER cases including grievances, disciplinary actions, and absence management in relation to performance, ensuring that solutions align with the organisations core values and high-performance objectives.


Requirements:

  • Must have industry background of Financial Services, Legal or Professional Services (investment management, fintech, insurance, banking)
  • Considerable experience dealing with complex ER cases (grievances, disciplinaries, absence management)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to adapt coaching and communication style to different business areas as required
