SOLICITOR – ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT TEAM (GLASGOW/EDINBURGH) – 1-4 YEARS PQE

Thompsons Solicitors, one of Scotland’s top personal injury law firms, is on the lookout for a passionate Road Traffic Accident Solicitor to join our vibrant and friendly team. We are dedicated to advocating for individuals who have been wronged and seek a talented solicitor to join us with similar ethos.


In this rewarding position, you will collaborate with a team of highly skilled individuals who are dedicated to helping accident victims. We are not just about practicing law; we actively campaign for legal reforms for accident victims and their families. We proudly represent the underdog, never insurers or big business.


In this exciting role, you will:


· Manage a caseload collaboratively with a team of like-minded individuals: Mix of pre-litigation and litigation work.


· Court Work: Get involved in ASPIC, Court of Session, and Sheriff Court work.


· Team Support: Help train and mentor junior team members and trainees.


· Investigations & Statements: Conduct liability investigations and obtain statements.


· Medical Expert Coordination: Instruct medical experts.


· Draft Legal Documents: Including Summonses and Writs.


· Court Appearances: Consult with Counsel and represent clients in court.
