Our client are an established, specialist responsible SME lender providing flexible finance to growing businesses in the North of England. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their team and are looking for an experienced Commercial Banking Relationship Manager or Relationship Director with a flair for Business Development and a network covering the North West.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for sourcing and appraising suitable lending opportunities through their introducer network within the North West, conducting due diligence and assessing the credit risk of each lend. You will be working closely with the Portfolio Management team for support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within Commercial Banking
- Extensive network of introducers across Lancashire
- Strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills
- Understanding of credit and risk to review opportunities
