Software Tester - Cambridge

You will work closely with both onshore and offshore developers, playing a crucial role in leading and shaping testing processes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Testing Mobile & Web Applications: Execute thorough testing of mobile and web applications to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
  • API Testing with Postman: Perform detailed API testing using Postman to validate integrations and data exchanges between systems.
  • Bug Tracking & Management: Use Jira to log, track, and manage bugs, ensuring issues are identified, prioritized, and resolved efficiently.
  • SQL Database Testing: Utilise SQL to perform database testing, ensuring data integrity and validating application functionalities.
  • Project Leadership: Lead testing efforts on various projects, working closely with developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore development teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on testing goals.


Key Requirements:


  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on mobile and web applications.
  • API Testing: Proficient in API testing using Postman.
  • Tools: Strong experience with Jira for bug tracking and SQL for database testing.
  • Leadership Skills: Confident and independent, capable of leading testing efforts on multiple projects.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Location: Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge 3 days a week.
