W Talent is partnering with an industry-leading water storage solutions provider, seeking an experienced Export Sales Estimator to join their team in Llantrisant. This position will play a key role in the Export Sales department, preparing technical quotations, maintaining client communication, and supporting the sales process.


As an Export Sales Estimator, you will be integral to delivering accurate cost estimates, managing customer enquiries, and ensuring projects align with the company’s high standards. This position will require strong organisational skills, a technical understanding of products, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.


Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare detailed technical quotations using web-based costing systems and spreadsheets.
  • Provide administrative support for the Export Sales Department, including document control, CRM management, and sales record updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—Sales, Design, Contracts, and Production—to gather project requirements and ensure smooth workflows.
  • Conduct telephone follow-ups with clients for project updates and respond to their queries.
  • Estimate export sales enquiries and generate timely, competitive quotations.
  • Handle sales-related documentation, including processing orders and tender documents.
  • Maintain and update records related to personal development and training.
  • Support exhibition planning and other sales-related events.


Key Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across multiple departments are crucial.


Qualifications


  • Previous technical sales experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Experience working within a technical sales environment, preferably with engineered products.
