Company Information


We currently have an opportunity for a deputy Facilities Manager to join our team in soft services team in Sudbury.

This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual who wants to deliver the best security, waste/cleaning and small staff canteen services within this factory/warehouse client. You will be directly employed by a world leading food and facilities management company.


Duties for Deputy Facilities Manager


Oversee and ensure compliance with facilities management processes, aligning with the companies client's health and safety protocols.

Other duties include:

Coordinate the day-to-day service delivery, maintaining statutory, mandatory, and contractual compliance across the site.

  • Managing 2 direct reports- team of approx.15 staff
  • Managing the site in the General Services Manager absence
  • Lead a culture of safety, ensuring all Safeguard administration and logistical operations prioritize health and safety.
  • Manage, train, and support the onsite team, including night shift personnel, ensuring high standards of service delivery and employee engagement.


The ideal Deputy Facilities Manager


Previous experience managing a similar operation facilities management, particularly in waste management within a manufacturing. Proven ability to manage training, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
