About The Role

The Commercial Project Manager will work closely with regional leaders and practitioners in the development and growth of FTIs business in EMEA and will play a significant role in shaping and orchestrating its commercial agenda.

You will support the Initiative Lead(s) on industry/client segments (covering at least 2 initiatives) to develop our commercial impact by:

  • Structuring the initiative: defining objectives, creating a roadmap/action plan, establishing governance (identifying key stakeholders to involve & scheduling sessions).
  • Organising the initiative on an ongoing basis: implementing governance structures, preparing for sessions, following up on various actions, and coordinating with different departments to execute the action plan.
  • Reporting on progress and results.

This position will play a relevant role on enabling the success and grow of FTI business in EMEA, and will partner with senior leaders to deliver ambitious cross-segment/cross country business strategies.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive, confident, and articulate Project Manager to be part of FTI growth in EMEA. A person well-suited to this role would be comfortable in leading within transformation and change management, building relationships, influencing, and managing very senior stakeholders and working with cross-functional and international teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Creating and updating the annual roadmap on the commercial initiative
  • Listing of the objectives and detailed action plan
  • On-boarding of all the stakeholders to ensure alignment and contributions
  • Designing the related dashboard to follow up on progress and results
  • Bringing in client insights to facilitate discussion and decisions
  • Compile client roster and undertake cross-segment client mapping exercise
  • Collate and organise case studies and credentials from participants teams by geography and the initiative theme
  • Create templates for weekly initiative theme digest and senior management reporting
  • Keep track of wins and pursuits based on conversations with the SMDs and update the Dashboard tracker on a weekly basis
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to carry out commercial action plan
  • Ensuring relevant commercial support (in close cooperation with local/segment marketing & BD teams) on:
    • Marketing campaigns online and offline
    • Marketing material to showcase our expertise in the specific client segment
    • EMEA and local events of interest to the initiative
    • Proposals to be sent to clients
  • Identifying and keeping track of relevant external interventions to be part of:
    • Track key conferences of interest to committee members in the Dashboard and key takeaways
    • Track key BD events/ conferences/ presentations being undertaken by committee members in the Dashboard and outcomes of participations
    • Track key client meetings and follow up on questions/next steps
  • Ensuring a smooth daily management of the initiative
  • Organize the various workshops, sessions, calls for all stakeholders involved in the initiative:
    • Setting up the meetings over the year
    • Creating the support for discussions
    • Taking notes for the minutes
    • Keeping track of the follow ups
  • Updating the dashboard for the committee and the senior management reporting with the relevant KPIs on actions and key information to circulate

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Self-starter and a finisher, able to use own initiative and take ownership, driven to deliver and exceed expectations
  • Knowledge about commercial process, dynamics and key stakeholders
  • Experience in organizing/planning and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly proficient in creating user friendly reports and analysis of the commercial performance
  • Effectively communicating verbally and in writing
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong experience working on go to market projects with a practical approach to achieve results
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale projects for financial institutions internally or as a consultant (financial institution experience is essential)
  • Strong foundational project management experience in matrix organisations and international environments
  • Bachelors Degree and Project Management (or equivalent level of skills/knowledge) preferred
  • Experience in management consulting or professional services is preferred
