The Role
As a Paid Search Specialist, you will take full ownership of driving strategy, execution, optimisation, and reporting for your assigned clients across paid search channels, predominantly Google Ads. You'll work towards performance-focused KPIs, managing a variety of campaigns including Search, Shopping, and PMAX, while also potentially overseeing YouTube and Demand Generation initiatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include handling client queries, delivering performance insights to senior management, and ensuring marketing strategies align with client goals and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
→ Lead the execution, strategy, and performance reporting of paid search campaigns.
→ Analyse and interpret performance data to provide actionable insights.
→ Continuously identify new growth opportunities and innovative strategies.
→ Manage client communications, responding to queries and updating them on performance.
→ Collaborate with Account Directors and Growth Managers to align campaign strategies with broader marketing objectives.
→ Support the development of media buying and creative roadmaps.
→ Mentor and guide junior team members if applicable.
About You
→ You are an experienced Google Ads expert with a passion for eCommerce and D2C marketing.
→ You have a proven track record of working towards performance-based metrics and understand the full marketing funnel.
→ You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and excel in collaborative settings.
→ You possess strong organisational skills and ensure that testing and project updates are documented and communicated effectively.
→ You value knowledge-sharing within a team and recognise its role in collective growth and success.
Skills & Experience
→ A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Ads, either agency or client-side.
→ Proven experience in driving performance improvements through Search, Shopping, and PMAX campaigns.
→ Experience with YouTube, Demand Gen, or Discovery Ads is a plus.
→ Familiarity with Feed Management tools and advanced Shopping/PMAX setups.
→ Strong data manipulation skills using Excel or Google Sheets.
→ Proficiency in using GA4 and third-party attribution platforms.
→ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
