Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Guide and supervise junior kitchen staff during food preparation.
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu preparation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-focus restaurant.
  • Excellent knowledge of cuisine with the ability to create innovative, seasonal menus.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
  • Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate level 2 or higher.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays as necessary.

Additional Details:

  • 46 - hour contract
  • Mornings off plus 2 full days off per week
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Fair Share of Tronc / Service Charge
  • A friendly "can do" attitude and a team player mentality are essential
