You are an established team, making your mark on the world of advertising, mastering the ropes of craft and the industry, yet ready to keep learning and honing your skills.

You have a portfolio that is full of great ideas you have made for clients and maybe even an industry award to boot. You’ll have been put to the test across a number of briefs, brands and media in previous agency roles, yet are hankering for a step up. You can handle projects solo, present work and listen (really listen and understand) client feedback, you work alongside other departments to enable the best work to happen, on time and on brief.

You’re after a team that doesn’t like to sit still. That welcome a different way to think about the usual but also understand sometimes a simple job is best solved simply.

You’ll be joining a growing creative crew who work across all client and in-house projects, supported by an Exec Creative Director. Your ability to take a brief, push thinking and deliver ideas with impact shows your love of the industry and will to make every piece you touch stand out. As with all of our crew, you’ll be an intrinsic part of the creative department and the wider agency.

You must be living in the UK and be legally able to work here.

We are House of Greenland is home to a special team of individuals. We believe persuasive ideas guided by inquisitive strategy, free our clients to go beyond their expectations. Be it digital, content, branding, strategy or advertising. We believe collaboration makes a difference, and bring the whole agency together on site three days a week.

Drawn from the worlds of advertising, design, production and strategy we’re a creative agency working for clients such as, Google, Red Bull, YouTube, The Tate and BT. And unlike most agencies that like the idea of making film and television, we’re actually making it happen with our Studio division.

Key roles and responsibilities


  • Ambitious conceptually-led creative team (copywriter & art director), full of brilliant ideas, with great energy and a love of all thing culture
  • Practised at answering briefs from brand and broadcast, to timely and tactical. You’ll have worked on a range of clients from consumer to direct.
  • Advertising and branding geeks - a healthy interest in great work
  • Experienced at pitching and agency new business needs
  • Have great attention to detail so work is delivered to the very best quality
  • Proactively manage your time so you can work across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to accept, and help others, feedback and criticism with good grace.
  • See clients as trusted advisors and partners, you’re happy to present and offer your opinion.
  • Team players who can work with other departments and freelancers
  • Be a positive force, offer guidance and reassurance and to keep cool when the pressure is on (which, incidentally, you will not be expected to deal with on your own)
  • Be proactive in continual improvement of ourselves and our agency

For the writer:

  • A love of writing and reading - whether it’s books, social feeds, scripts or magazine
  • Excellent grasp of grammar and editorial writing styles
  • Able to write to different formats (short, longform, scripts, voiceover, direct)
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google work products and even possibly a touch of AI
  • Possess a strong point of view about how ideas and writing can elevate creative and strategic execution


For the art director:

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google work products and even possibly a touch of AI. Figma would be a huge plus too.
  • Know how to create great ideas, and deliver delicious crafting to drive not only great work no matter the budget
  • Deep understanding of craft and can effectively communicate film animation, sound and photographic ideas to other members of the team

  • Ability to translate your ideas into briefs for animators, photographers or directors
