Working within a busy and vibrant team your sole responsibility is to assist the sales and marketing team in the smooth processing of quotations and orders and provide excellent customer service to customers to grow the business.


Working within Sales and Marketing department the successful candidate will engage with customers to provide quotations, product selection support and sharing technical knowledge of the products with prospective customers to support them in their decision making.


The role will involve collaboration with all the key teams in the factory from sales and marketing, through design, operations, quality, manufacturing, despatch, and finance. The candidate will have daily contact with customers and expected to provide the highest level of customer service to help drive and grow the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting sales teams with product and application knowledge.
  • Provide technical systems guidance in selection of the correct sensor.
  • Provide application and product support to sales team and customers.
  • Interpreting customers’ requirements and presenting a solution to the customer.
  • Communicating customers technical requirements to the production operations team.
  • Generate customer quotations and documentation.
  • Lead qualification and follow-up.
  • Working with our Marketing team planning, defining and executing marketing communication strategies for the sensors product range


Essential requirements:

  • Scientific or technical qualifications: (technician level and above would be a distinct advantage).
  • Self-motivated and a team player with a customer focused mindset.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or within commodity electronics.
  • Problem solving, “can do” attitude and prepared to learn new things
  • Ability to work independently and to make sound decisions
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • MS Office packages including Excel, Word and Power Point.


Offering:

  • Working hours are Monday – Thursday: 8:30am - 5pm / Friday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • Competitive salary ranging DOE
  • Company pension
  • Holidays 28 days plus 8 statutory days
  • Office Based Monday - Thursday WFH Friday
