What you’ll be doing:

  • You will perform advanced project reporting and scheduling using Earned Value Management
  • Agree on project approaches with stakeholders and prepare realistic, quality risk and communications plans
  • Track activities against the project schedule whilst managing the stakeholder involvement
  • Lead a small project or a work package of a larger project
  • You will manage the full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time the needs of customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved

Your skills and experiences:

  • You will need to hold good Project Management and Controls experience demonstrated in a professional capacity

  • Knowledge of Project Management governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews
  • Experience of working with stakeholders across all levels
  • Have experience of problem solving from a Business environment

The Project Controls team:

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a dynamic developing team who play a crucial role in ensuring that we provide high quality and safe submarines to the Royal Navy. The team includes a range of niche discipline industry experts who support multiple submarine programmes and because of the growth of the team and their work, there is a need to provide project management support to the Head of the department.
