The company :
A leading provider of advanced electronic components and embedded systems, specializing in housing and PCB solutions. With an innovative product portfolio and a strong reputation in sectors such as defence, aerospace, rail, telecoms, and renewables, they are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to help drive our business forward.
The Role:
As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts across the UK, selling advanced housing and printed circuit boards (PCBs) to clients within the defence, aerospace, rail, telecoms, and renewable energy sectors. You will leverage your expertise in embedded systems and electronics to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs, foster strong relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts across targeted sectors (defence, aerospace, rail, telecoms, renewables)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on embedded systems and PCB solutions
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing our housing and PCB capabilities
- Work closely with internal teams including R&D, Engineering, and Product Development to align customer requirements with our product offerings
- Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring profitable business growth while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to offer innovative solutions to clients
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and account management activities
About You:
- Proven experience in a technical sales position or a similar role, within electronics or embedded systems
- Technical knowledge of housing and PCBs for electronic systems, ideally with experience in embedded technologies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Ability to work independently with a strategic mindset while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel across the UK to meet clients and attend industry events
