Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating new client opportunities and contracts with organisations to promote the full range of services and solutions. The role is a new business and sales focused role to develop new revenue generating contracts with clients on a national basis. The Business Development Manager will report to the Head of Business Development and will work collaboratively across the businesses, teams, stakeholders, and partners.
Responsibilities Included:
- Identify and pursue new clients and contracts/agreements in target sectors
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base
- Develop sales decks and marketing materials in collaboration with the team and marketing
- Build and manage existing client relationships to ensure repeat sales and referrals
- Meet quarterly and annual sales and revenue generation goals
- Work collaboratively as part of the Business Development team, support joint projects and provide assistance when required
- Provide clear pipeline information and sales reporting to Senior Management
- Support with marketing plans and strategies, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns as required
Skills and Attributes:
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience of developing and delivering new business revenue in any of the following sectors: Utilities – Water/ Energy/Communications or Credit Providers
