Meeting & Events Sales Manager

I am excited to be working with this modern branded hotel and leisure group who are seeking a Meeting & Events Sales Manager to join their fun and growing team. The Meeting & Events Sales manager will be responsible for delivering an efficient and effective booking service for meeting and events and maximising revenue, whilst managing a team and ensuring all requirements are handed over to the operations team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other departments to drive standards, processes, product and M&E revenues
  • Strategically manage the incoming event enquiries
  • Follow up with existing enquiries in a timely manner, in order to achieve a high level of conversion rates
  • Manage and develop a team of M&E Sales coordinators
  • Create proposals, contracts and raise invoices
  • Prepare and plan the sales activity plans
  • Represent the company at networking events and hosting FAM trips to drive new business
  • Plan the events and create function sheets to hand over to the operations team


Skills and Experience

  • Event sales and planning experience from a hotel, events venue or hospitality background
  • Experience in supervising or managing an event sales team
  • Great customer service and fantastic attention to detail
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
