The EZ Concept division of Studco specializes in innovative architectural building products for flush finish and clean line interiors. We are currently seeking an additional team member to add to our sales team for our UK division based out of Rugby. As a key member of the inside sales team, you will be responsible for providing fanatical customer service to customer inquiries, while performing other sales functions such as qualifying inbound projects, persistent follow up, account management, and host customer presentations.


The applicant must be willing to work with the Studco team for the good of the whole business. This is a growing entrepreneurial organization that will require constant adjustments as the business scales. Job responsibilities can deviate often and with little notice in an effort to serve the needs of the business and our customers. This person must be flexible and be open to changes. This is a fast-paced environment that looks to build a more formalized structure and processes. The candidate must have a professional demeanor, is highly engaged, and has a strong sense of purpose and passion.


Compensation: Up to £36,000 (plus room for growth with commission)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming emails, webchats, and phone enquiries relating to the EZConcept product range. Customer communication must be responded to promptly.
  • Qualify inbound opportunities from architects, contractors, building material distributors and designers. Candidate must be consultative in nature as EZ concept is a specialty / custom product.
  • Upsell / Cross – sell opportunities after assessing customer needs
  • Maintain and update our sales funnel (Pipeline Management)
  • Engage in persistent and appropriate follow-ups on open quotations
  • Present product demonstrations via virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom)
  • Proactively connect with former and existing customer accounts to reignite or grow relationship.
  • Cold Call prospects to generate awareness and interest with the EZConcept product range
  • Prepare and submit quotes for EZ Concept products as needed
  • Review technical drawings and action quotation revisions as needed
  • Enter and manage customer details in Netsuite CRM, recording all meaningful sales interactions and correspondence
  • Liaise with Operations regarding custom applications as needed
  • Attend all Sales meetings
  • Provide market intelligence and actively contribute ideas and solutions to the Sales Team, Marketing Department and Technical Team
  • This role likely will not require travel, however, face to face interactions may be asked of you and require travel occasionally based on customer needs (Likely to occur infrequently)
  • Confidentiality is paramount. Any breach of trust will be regarded seriously & addressed in an appropriate manner by senior management. Anyone involved in the Studco Team is required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of inside sales or business development experience in a professional office setting
  • University degree


Preferred knowledge:

  • Know and value the need for fanatical customer service
  • Challenger sale mindset
  • Understanding of basic sales and customer service processes and techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and ERP/CRM systems
  • Some knowledge of the construction industry.
