Private Equity Associate

Our client, a leading Private Equity Fund in London, investing in several sectors, such as - B2B services, education & training, industrials and others, with offices in several locations, is currently looking for an Analyst/Associate to join their fast-growing team to be based in London.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to negotiate terms, structure deals, and complete all necessary fund documentation. Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- Identify and assess potential investment opportunities. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to determine the viability and profitability of investment options.
- Create detailed presentations and written memos on new investment opportunities. Provide clear and concise information to stakeholders, highlighting key aspects of the investment.
- Take responsibility for individual modules within the due diligence process. Conduct in-depth financial analyses and financial modeling to assess investment potential. Oversee legal and tax due diligence, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Manage the preparation and review of legal documentation and coordinate financing arrangements.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of professional or consulting experience in finance, banking, or a related field. Additional experience gained through relevant internships in banking or private equity is highly advantageous.
- Business proficiency in German
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, statistics, mathematics, or economics. A strong academic record is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and valuation. Ability to build complex financial models and perform detailed valuation analyses.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough research and draw meaningful insights. Proficiency in using financial software and tools for analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
