The Senior Contracts Manager (SCM) of International Markets will support the regional Director of Financial Operations (DFO) and the Legal Department in EMEA and APAC.


The role will ultimately be responsible for the end to end supplier contracting process, but will also have a strong focus on client contracting and the management of contractual issues with existing clients as well as providing bid support to Business Development.


The position will require the management, coaching and mentoring of the Contracts Team within EMEA and APAC, as well as enhancements and improvements to existing controls, processes & procedures.


This is a hybrid role and individuals will need to be within commutable distance of either the Bracknell or London offices.


As the Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of:


  1. All aspects of supplier contracting process for new client implementations and expansions or changes to existing clients;
  2. administration and negotiation of supplier agreements;
  3. administration and negotiation of local client agreements and amendments to client contacts ; and
  4. analysis of supplier/client contracts to support new business and internal business projects.
  5. Review, analysis and response to RFPs/bid documents/customer agreements, identifying areas of contractual risk and developing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.


Qualifications


  • Strong contract negotiation skills, including a solid understanding of common legal and business terms and conditions and the ability to effectively explain one’s position on such terms and conditions to others.
  • Good working knowledge of complex supply chain structures.
  • Good financial acumen and ability to work alongside finance teams to ensure that contracts are financially viable.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and the implication on the business processes.
  • A people manager with the ability to develop and coach a team of Contract Management Professionals
