As an Account Manager at MediaNerd you will have a deep understanding of your client objectives. Your role will be to guide projects through from brief to delivery, ensuring that the work is fit for purpose, on time and on budget.


Responsibilities include:


  • Ability to understand the context around the client request/brief including competitor landscape
  • Understand client businesses/models and recommend appropriate strategies
  • Understands the form optimal outputs take and what good looks like
  • Creates deliverables/comms that are considerate of visual identity, clear and consistent
  • Briefs and supports creatives and strategists involved the projects
  • Understands and identifies the value of creative strategy and design in the commission of projects
  • Has the ability to gain insights, trends or patterns from data and research
  • Has the ability to fully understand the client’s needs and requirements to shape solutions
  • Maximises cross-functional expertise in the business to bolster and expand strategic and creative thinking
  • Is able to identify areas of opportunity
  • Draws on multiple sources and experience
  • Owns scope, scheduling, project budgets, risks, quality and resources on all projects assigned to them
  • Achieves timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Provides transparent communication on progress with the team raising blockers or concerns in the correct channels
  • Set and manage client expectation
  • Manages communications to ensure all teams members are properly informed or briefed
  • Works with finance to manage client invoices and budget reconciliation upon completion of work
  • Flags and manages scope creep
  • Learns and adheres to internal business processes, contributing to their improvement through feedback
  • Takes active measures to improve profitability, understanding cost, value and negotiations
  • Ensures clients are aware of all the services MediaNerd can deliver
  • Contributes to development of quotes, proposals and pitches
  • Captures opportunities for upsell, cross sell or scope increase
  • Champions and demonstrates passion for the work MediaNerd does
  • Represents the MediaNerd brand
  • Builds functional and collaborative internal relationships, supporting and mentoring junior team members and proactively reaching out to senior team members for guidance
  • Model’s behaviours consistent with our values, particularly facing challenges in the spirit of better outcomes


Requirements


  • A proven track record working within creative services
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Experience in a multichannel environment
  • Experience working with global brands – B2B and B2C
