Dunbar Brown Group are delighted to be working exclusively with one of our London based clients. We currently have an opening for a full time Consultant to join their London client. The role will be focused around advising clients on property tax and capital allowances, which provides significant tax savings to property owners, investors and occupiers and involves working and liaising with all disciplines within the property sector, the end client, accountants, lawyers, agents and quantity surveyors and project managers.


  • Advising clients on capital allowances relating to property acquisitions, developments, refurbishments, and fit outs
  • Undertaking valuations of land, buildings, and plant
  • Interpreting and keeping up to date with legislation and applying this daily.
  • Carrying out property surveys across the UK, conducting site expectations, and written reports
  • Preparing technical report submissions and communication with clients
  • Meeting and liaising with end clients and their advisors
  • Assisting in the preparation of proposals and new business development


Requirements:

  • Ideally 1-5 years industry experience working in Property Tax, Capital Allowances or has a relevant industry background such as quantity surveying, project management or accounting
  • Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work
  • Shows enthusiasm and is highly motivated to learn
  • Works well within a team environment
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Highly numerate with good IT skills


This will be based in the London office 3-5 times per week and are currently supporting the customer with 2 positions, one at junior level and one at senior level. The salary for the junior role is £35,000 per annum and the senior is DOE ranging from £40-55,000 per annum.
