US/UK Private Client Tax Consultant - London

Our team of over 40 tax specialists is growing rapidly, with a diverse range of backgrounds and expertise. As a US/UK Private Client Tax Consultant, you will work closely with entrepreneurs, ultra-high net worth individuals, and clients from various industries, including leading banks, law firms, and multinationals.

You will develop a mix of UK and US tax technical skills and commercial acumen, as well as softer skills that will set you apart from the crowd. As a consultant within our US/UK High Net Worth team, you will be part of a diverse and inclusive team culture where contributions are recognized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide US and UK tax advice to a portfolio of clients, developing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Take ownership of client engagements, liaising with clients and third parties to build relationships and understand their needs.
  • Oversee and monitor tax compliance services provided to clients, maximizing engagement management.
  • Build internal networks within the firm to encourage collaboration and attend external networking events to establish our team's eminence in the market.
  • Support junior team members through talent initiatives, regular feedback, and effective delegation.
Your Professional Experience:

  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • Able to take ownership, use initiative to resolve problems, and exercise appropriate levels of judgment.
  • Drive and ambition to succeed and exceed clients' expectations, with a proactive approach to personal development.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and respond to clients accordingly.
  • Good team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Experience of delegation and interest in developing junior team members.
