**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Consultant to join our team as an Assistant Manager in our US/UK Tax Consultancy division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing personal tax advisory and compliance services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of high net worth (HNW) US-connected private clients, providing personal tax advice as their trusted adviser.
- Work closely with our US/UK team to provide specialist tax advice to HNW/UHNW individuals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their tax needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in US and UK personal taxation, ensuring our clients receive the best possible advice.
- Collaborate with our team to identify new business opportunities and grow our client base.
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of US and UK personal taxation, gained in a leading UK tax team.
- Demonstrable experience of advising US HNWIs on their personal tax position.
- Excellent client relationship management skills and a commercial approach to WIP, recoverability, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a minimum of one day a month in the London office.
