Overview

This critical role will be responsible for setting up and providing effective programme governance for a business-wide, multi-year transformation programme


Key Responsibilities


  • Programme Governance: Establish and maintain a robust programme governance structure from inception, ensuring alignment with best practice and industry standards.
  • Documentation Standards: Develop and implement group wide documentation standards, including project plans, risk management, budget tracking, and other critical programme documentation.
  • Governance Meetings: Organise and lead weekly and monthly governance calls and meetings, ensuring clear communication and effective decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed reports to senior stakeholders, providing updates on programme status, risks, and key deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and managed effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement within the PMO to ensure best practice to enhance programme delivery and governance.


Person Specification


Experience & Qualifications:


  • Significant experience leading complex, multi-year change and transformation programmes ideally in the FMCG, logistics or food sector
  • Proven knowledge of best practice programme/project management disciplines and methodologies, with relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2 or equivalent.
  • Ability to set up and manage large-scale programmes effectively.
