Blush & Bloom are pleased to be partnered with a leading, global organisation who are known for delivering cutting-edge, sustainable solutions across a range of industries. As they expand further, they are now seeking a passionate and driven individual to join their Personal Care team, based in Yorkshire.


You will have the opportunity to work on innovative formulations across key product areas, including hair care, skincare, and colour cosmetics. This role will involve exploring and optimising the properties of the existing product portfolio, having a commercial approach and identifying new ways to enhance performance in personal care formulations.


You’ll be involved in hands-on product development and problem-solving, utilising your scientific expertise to drive technical excellence. The role will involve occasional travel and meeting with customers, so a confident communicator with a proactive approach is essential.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or a related field, with a strong ability to apply scientific knowledge to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent laboratory skills, along with the ability to plan, manage, and evaluate your own workload effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
  • A self-motivated, flexible approach, ready to adapt to changing priorities.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Previous experience as a formulator within the personal care industry would be highly beneficial.
