Dave's Hot Chicken started on the streets of East Hollywood, CA, in 2017 and has quickly grown to the fastest-growing franchise in the US. The co-founder, Dave, came up with a simple process: take the best quality chicken, prepare the chicken in a proprietary brine, and after deep frying; top the most tender chicken in the world with one of seven signature spice blends.


Launching in the UK this year, we're looking for a General Manager with leadership skills, the passion for building a team, and capability to make the launch of Dave’s Hot Chicken a mind-blowing success.


Summary:

  • An exceptional Operator with high energy levels and the potential to become a high-volume Restaurant General Manager and then an Operations Manager at scale
  • Assisting the General Manager of a high-volume central London flagship store
  • Ensuring the Dave’s culture and high standards is embedded into every new starter for Dave’s, delivering exceptional customer service
  • Highly motivated and proven self-starter
  • Working in a small, entrepreneurial team, joining the journey and growing as an Operator from Restaurant #1 with an ambition of 30-60 within 5 years


Responsibilities:

  • The day-to-day leader within Restaurant #1, especially when the General Manager is not on
  • shift
  • Following the DHC Training Program, be an expert in DHC Brand Standards and Operational Equipment
  • Supporting the Operational Lead and General Manager with recruitment of Supervisors and Team members ahead of launch
  • A superuser of Ops systems including PoS, inventory and labour management.
  • Hands on support of a small, dynamic, start-up team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Off-the-scale energy and passion for operational excellence
  • Experience in restaurants operations, preferably in high volume QSR
  • Prepared to roll up your sleeves and get involved with all aspects of launching Dave’s in the UK & Ireland
  • Effective communicator with all team members
  • Excellent organization, planning, time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
