Prestigious International Bank based in the City of London, are looking to recruit a Junior Auditor, to join their Internal Audit department. In this position, you’ll play a key part within the EMEA Internal Audit team, responsible for conducting independent audits covering the Bank’s First and Second Line of Defence (particularly Compliance, AML and/or CASS).


Main responsibilities will include;


  • Develop and execute detailed audit plans and programs, focusing on high-risk areas.
  • Perform audits (particularly Compliance, AML and/or CASS) across all departments, including First Line of Defence, Risk Management, Compliance and Operations.
  • Applying audit methodologies and tools to assess the effectiveness of internal control environment and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendation to audit stakeholders.
  • Follow up audit issues to collaborate with audit stakeholders to ensure timely remediation.
  • Ensure audit activities comply with audit methodologies, relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Stay abreast of changes in regulatory environment and industry best practices to inform audit processes and recommendations.


To be considered for this position, ideal candidates


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Professional accountancy (CA/ACCA), internal audit (CIA) qualification desirable.
  • Experience in Compliance, AML and/or CASS internal audits preferred.
  • Ability to meet deadlines through effective time management.
  • Clear and concise communicator (both verbal and written), with the ability to develop and build effective relationships within the Internal Audit Department, and across the Branch and group company.
  • Experience of using Agile in auditing is desirable.
