As a Junior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with clients and candidates while contributing to the growth of your desk within our resourcing agency. This role will require a dynamic and proactive individual with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for new business development, candidate sourcing, and providing exceptional customer service to clients and candidates alike.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their hiring needs, preferences, and long-term goals.
Regularly engage with clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to provide updates, address queries, and strengthen partnerships.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights into market trends, talent availability, and recruitment strategies.
New Business Development:
Identify and target potential clients within the industry to expand the client portfolio and generate new business opportunities.
Conduct market research to identify key players, industry trends, and potential areas for business growth.
Create and deliver persuasive sales pitches and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the unique selling points of our recruitment services.
Growing Your Desk:
Work towards achieving and exceeding individual and team targets for revenue generation and placements.
Utilise various sales techniques, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals, to grow your desk and increase business opportunities.
Collaborate with senior consultants and management to develop strategic business plans to achieve personal and team goals.
Candidate Resourcing:
Proactively source, screen, and interview candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and referrals.
Assess candidate skills, qualifications, and cultural fit to match them with suitable job opportunities.
Maintain an up-to-date candidate database and talent pool to facilitate quick and efficient placements.
Candidate Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with candidates to understand their career aspirations and preferences.
Provide regular updates to candidates on relevant job opportunities and manage their expectations throughout the recruitment process.
Offer support and guidance to candidates, including interview preparation and feedback.
Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to both clients and candidates at all stages of the recruitment process.
Respond promptly to client and candidate inquiries and resolve any issues professionally and efficiently.
Continuously seek feedback from clients and candidates to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
Market Awareness:
Stay abreast of industry trends, market changes, and developments in the recruitment and hiring landscape.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand knowledge and foster new connections.
