As a Site Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission to create a state-of-the-art cancer centre. Join our dynamic team and make a difference
The Site Engineer for the reinforced concrete, timber and steel frames will assist the Site Manager responsible for those work packages. The role holder is required to develop and maintain relationships with their own line manager and other members of the project team.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Understand the design and construction methodologies that relate to the project’s RC, timber and steel structures.
- Assist the Site Manager with coordination, planning and management of the construction of the RC, timber and steel structures.
- Assist the Site Manager with their responsibilities for health, safety, quality and environment.
- Assist the Site Manager with communicating design and construction information to the project team and subcontractors..
- Actively engage with ensuring that health and safety standards are met in accordance with legislation and Sacyr UK’s Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
- Ensure that the requirements of the project’s Quality Plan are followed.
- Additional duties associated with the role as determined by the project’s management
Essential criteria
- Right to work in the UK
- BSc / MSc construction-related degree
OR
- 3 years of experience in similar role on RC, timber and steel structures
In addition to the above:
- Attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Software packages: Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Good leadership, motivational and people management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of management of multiple disciplines.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others, both internal and external.
