The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available to join this progressive firm as a Business Change Manager. The UK legal industry is rapidly evolving, and a transformative leader is needed to join the Transformation Team. This role is crucial in accelerating change and achieving strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Major Change Projects: Manage and deliver impactful change projects with a strong focus on collaboration.
  • Support Legal Teams: Assist in reviewing and improving services to deliver better client outcomes.
  • Process Mapping and Risk Management: Facilitate workshops, maintain task lists, follow up on actions, and manage risks and issues.
  • Enhance Efficiency: Identify opportunities for efficiency, manage digital transformation, and support teams through changes.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee procurement and supplier relationships.
  • Support Senior Leadership: Assist the Director of Transformation and Operations on firm-wide projects.


Skills and Experience

  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing large strategic business change projects.
  • Legal Industry Knowledge: Understanding of law firms or professional services.
  • Supplier Management: Experience in tendering, procurement, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Technological Proficiency: Broad understanding of technology for efficient work delivery.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and project management qualifications (e.g., APMP or Prince 2).
  • Business Analysis: Experience in process mapping, swim lane diagrams, and continuous improvement (e.g., IIBA or BCS qualifications).
  • People Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and facilitating group work.
  • IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft products, knowledge of Visio is an advantage.
