As a Product/Change/Transformation/Delivery Manger for our Investment Management Technology team, you will be at the forefront of a strategic programme aimed at transforming and modernizing our investment management processes. This role is crucial in delivering a new, consolidated cross-asset class Investment Toolkit and implementing Model-Based Investing, which are essential for the company's growth and ability to meet evolving client demands.


You will lead the definition and delivery of business tools and operating model changes, collaborating closely with senior business leaders and vendor partners. Your responsibilities include managing teams of business analysts and technical vendors, ensuring the successful execution of key outcomes across the front, middle, and back-office functions.

Experience in leading and managing large-scale change initiatives within investment management, ensuring successful implementation of innovative technologies and processes and a proven ability to navigate complex organizational landscapes and drive strategic transformations that align with business objectives.



  • Portfolio Engineering: Experience in optimizing portfolio construction and management strategies, ensuring efficient asset allocation and risk management.
  • Model-Based Investing: Familiarity with implementing and managing investment strategies based on quantitative models, enhancing decision-making and portfolio performance.
  • Familiarity with the implementation of Model-Based Investing within an investment management framework: Understanding of how Model-Based Investing integrates into overall investment strategies and operations, optimizing investment decisions and client outcomes.



️ ROLE DETAILS



Your Team: Our Investment Management Technology team provides development, implementation, and support services to our global Investment Management division. We support Fund Managers, Research Analysts, and Traders across major financial hubs including London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and more.



Our Mission: We are embarking on strategic programmes to enhance our technology platform, supporting the evolution of our Investment Processes across asset classes. This includes Fundamental and Quantitative Research, Sustainable Investing, Systematic and Portfolio Construction, Risk Management, and Trading.



Our Key Programme:

This strategic programme aims to double Assets Under Managment by delivering:


  1. A new and consolidated cross-asset class Investment Toolkit.
  2. Model-Based Investing to unlock strategic growth.
  3. Migration away from asset Pooling structures to mitigate regulatory and counterparty risks.



Your Role: As a Product Delivery Manager, you will:


  • Collaborate with senior Business and Change leads and vendor partners.
  • Facilitate and lead the definition and delivery of business tools and operating model changes.
  • Implement tools and technologies for Model-Based Investing.
  • Manage teams of business analysts and technical vendors.
  • Engage with internal functions to deliver outcomes across front, middle, and back office.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner with business leads and senior architects to deliver critical outcomes.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery for a key product workstream within the programme.
  • Work closely with Data and Investment Risk programmes to create cohesive solutions.
  • Design and resource the global change team.
  • Establish and manage roadmaps for capability delivery.
  • Align technology and business functions under a cohesive governance model.
  • Ensure operational readiness activities are planned and executed.



About You: The ideal candidate will have:



  • Strong business analysis skills with a track record in Investment Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Investment Management lifecycle.
  • Experience with portfolio management and Model-Based Investing.
  • Background in Investment Management technology product development.
  • Strong logical and physical data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering change using an offshore model.
