The role


Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager (FP&A and Integrations) and primarily focused on the European region, you will be responsible for owning and improving models currently in use, building new models, tracking KPIs, identifying trends and variances and budgeting and forecasting. The finance team is very outward looking into the wider business and you will have significant interaction with the operations teams.


This is a newly created role in a team which is still in its infancy, therefore will likely evolve as the FP&A function responds to changing business needs and so the responsibilities listed below should be viewed as a guide more than a prescriptive list.


Your responsibilities will include:


• Reporting on WIP and invoicing

• Supporting the Head of Order to Cash with any reporting requirements

• Supporting the FC with the reporting to the operational business

• Driving automation and intuitive reporting within the European finance team

• Supporting the FC/FD with reforecasting and budgeting

• Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance business performance and financial activities


About you


We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant with experience in an FP&A position, as well as:


• Exceptional Excel skills; experience in building models and in owning and improving upon existing models

o Able to manage data sets

o Confidently building and applying advanced formula such as index matching, Boolean logic etc.

o Foundational knowledge of automating excel functionality either by connecting, cleansing and manipulating data with Power Query or by basic VBA

o Analysing and summarizing data with pivot tables and pivot tables

o Some knowledge of visualisations

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs

• Passion for self learning and driving automation

• Stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving
