Financial Administrator (Italian speaking)

BDB Europe are expanding our Finance and Administration support team within London to continue to support our businesses in the most effective way.

The day to day:

  • Contact clients to obtain payment of outstanding premiums.
  • Keep files showing credit control history.
  • Report to Directors any clients which exceed terms of credit.
  • Resolve client queries.
  • Input Premiums/Aps/RPs to access database.
  • Update pay files with premiums and cash received.
  • Input payment/receipts to systems.
  • Update Cash Book with receipt/payments.
  • Reconcile client/insurer accounts.
  • Allocate client/insurer accounts.
  • Update outstanding premium files for credit control purposes.
  • Operate bank account reconciliations.
  • Digitise final Slip/Cover Note to Document Management System.
  • Digitise lapsed files/accounting documents to DMS filing.
  • Receive, verify and process invoices.
  • Monitor client accounts and chase overdue payments.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end process.
  • Assist with the production of regular client reports.


Key Requirements:

  • Languages: fluent Italian and good English (essential)
  • Very good numerical skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially advanced Excel
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • Good prioritising and organisational skills
