Internal Communications Executive – 12+ months contract – London (hybrid, 3 days office, 2 days WFH) - £250-£300 per day umbrella rate


To support the London management team with the planning and delivery of internal communications. This involves maintaining and implementing a communications plan, daily colleague announcements, management communications, and event management. The role also requires liaising with key stakeholders across the business to represent the communications department. The role will also involve liaising with Group Communications to ensure common and consistent language and messaging, as well as the communication of Bank-wide messages locally where appropriate.


Key competencies:

  • Support London management in regular communication activities, maintain and implement a communications plan.
  • Research content for articles, write, and edit copy for the intranet, and manage email communications
  • Manage internal communication-led events including the Lunch & Learn programme
  • On occasion help at other internal and external events
  • Coordinate monthly London Stories communication – actively seek out opportunities to promote success and good news stories
  • Regularly update London intranet presence and provide training to areas across the business
  • Liaise with a variety of stakeholders from across the business and networks including the Lon-don Regional Diversity Council, the Green Team and other CSR groups to manage their communications
  • Develop the use of video content for internal communications – manage a regular calendar of content for London
  • Research and propose new communications formats, especially given hybrid working, to reach our internal target audiences.
  • Work with the graphics agency, briefing in campaigns and online publications.

  • Experience in communications or financial services preferred – suit candidate looking for a second step
