What’s the role?
We’re looking for a Senior SEO Executive to join our innovative and collaborative team. In this role, you’ll support the Senior SEO Manager in delivering high-level strategies to drive relevant search traffic to an expanding portfolio of websites. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams, implement best-practice SEO principles, and ensure our strategies align with business goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior SEO Manager to create data-driven strategy roadmaps for each of our brands.
- Work closely with in-house developers to ensure sites consistently follow SEO best practices.
- Partner with other business areas to ensure on-page content meets customer search intent.
- Align Digital PR strategies with internal roadmaps by working closely with third-party agencies.
- Independently implement optimizations and manage our CMS to apply best-practice SEO principles.
Principal Accountabilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify commercially relevant opportunities and develop optimisation strategies.
- Create weekly and monthly reports to track trends, highlight successes, and propose action plans.
- Present data and updates confidently in meetings, ensuring clarity and alignment with ongoing projects.
- Set up and monitor ranking reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Regularly audit our websites and recommend technical and on-page improvements.
- Utilize SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console effectively.
About You
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills:
- Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience across technical and content SEO. Proven success in driving organic traffic growth and implementing impactful changes.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in core SEO tools including Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console. Familiarity with Ahrefs and SEMrush is advantageous.
- Commercial Focus: Evidence of meeting or exceeding KPIs and delivering results.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in producing reports and presenting key metrics.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to articulate technical SEO issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for Digital Marketing: A proactive approach to learning and applying new strategies.
