We are looking for a Digital Marketing Account Director to lead and manage our client accounts and agency teams. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in delivering successful digital marketing strategies and managing high-performing teams.

You should be confident in leading client relationships, mentoring team members, and ensuring our digital marketing campaigns drive measurable results.
As the key point of contact for high-value clients, you will take ownership of campaign performance and client satisfaction, working closely with account managers, developers, and creatives to ensure seamless delivery.
Location
This role requires someone who can attend the office in Glasgow (Monday to Thursday) and meet clients on-site. You will also have access to city-centre co-working spaces and meeting rooms as required.
Your Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Develop and oversee strategic marketing plans for clients, ensuring alignment with their business goals.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the team, including account managers, developers, and content creators.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure campaigns are completed on time and within scope.
- Drive client growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Present campaign strategies, performance updates, and ROI reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop long-term agency growth strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing, ensuring the agency remains at the cutting edge.
Role Requirements
- Proven experience in digital marketing (minimum 5 years, with 2+ years in a senior role within an agency environment).
- A strong background in managing and growing client relationships.
- Expertise in B2B marketing, lead generation, and performance marketing across channels such as SEO, PPC, email, and marketing automation.
- Leadership skills, with a history of managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Analytical mindset with a proven ability to interpret data and derive insights.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Organisational skills to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
