As a social worker , your role will be to act as an officer of the local authority and execute statutory functions ensuring that individuals are safeghuarded and supported to acheive positive outcomes.

You will work in partnership with people , other professionals and agencies and intervene to safeguard individuals , promote social change , maximise independence and provide appropriate information and advice about third sector and universal services which suppoort positive outcomes.

You will have the ability to apply professional documentation relevant to your service area and be able to prioritse your workload and work within defined timescales.

Principles of human rights and social justice are fundamental to the role and you will be required to be able o effectively balance the protectition of individual rights agaisnt the need to use the professional authority and accountability effectively to safeguard vulnerable indivuals.

Social Workers within this service area are able to work flexibly between home and work to meet the needs of the service whilst recognising the benefits that a hybrid model of working can bring.

We are looking for confident and skilled Social Workers to work within the Adult Services team. Our objective is to deliver the best outcomes in improving the quality of life for Adults within the area.
