As part of our Client's continued success and growth, our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Internal Account Manager to join their busy and professional team based close to C. Reading. You’ll use your account management skills to proactively manage existing customer accounts, process incoming orders, resolve any issues arising, and assist in developing best practices within the team. There is a business development 'team power hour' with an hour of outbound sales calls each day as a team, but apart from that, it is more traditional customer service focused with no weekend work Salary will be based on previous experience - this client has an excellent record of staff commitment and retention,


Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process incoming orders and provide timely updates to clients
  • Provide help and guidance to clients, including technical assistance and product knowledge
  • Drive sales through warm leads from the database
  • Communicate with various clients, addressing inquiries and fostering positive relationships
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems, ensuring quick and effective solutions
  • Help develop policies, procedures, and standards to enhance the service experience
  • Stay updated on company products and services, keeping informed of new features and offerings
  • Collaborate with various departments, offering support as needed to ensure smooth operations


Requirements:

  • A focus on Sales or upselling should be clearly outlined in your CV - all the team have a proven ability in Sales and relationship building
  • Your sales experience could be gained from retail, hospitality, or an office sales environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer accounts effectively is also required
  • As the team works on-site, you must live within 20 minutes of Reading - please outline your location in your application.
