My client, a fast-growing Managed IT Service Provider based in the South-West, is seeking to expand their exceptional team with a Technical Services Engineer. Renowned for their award-winning approach to growth and staff development, they are looking for a dedicated professional to work across a diverse client base, spanning industries such as Research & Development, Manufacturing, Defense, and more. You'll leverage cutting-edge technology to ensure clients' systems are aligned with industry best practices. This role will mainly be on site with some flexibility for remote working and comes with a salary of up to £35K plus excellent benefits such as private health and dental care.

To suceed in this role you will need to be able to:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, both on-site and remotely.
  • Perform break/fix services and installations at client sites.
  • Conduct quarterly audits of client networks and infrastructure, both on-site and remotely.
  • Onboard new clients, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of client networks, systems, and infrastructure.
  • Provide high-level customer service to a wide range of users, including those with minimal IT knowledge.

My client is looking for a motivated individual that is looking to take their next step and progress their career, ideally you will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support.
  • Strong technical knowledge of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, firewalls, and more.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer satisfaction-driven attitude.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to commute to office and perform client site visits regularly.
  • Proficient understanding/use of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, WatchGuard, Ubiquiti and Networking.
