We are looking for a Quality Engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience, based in Dundee.

Quality Engineer, Dundee
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Quality and HSE Manager in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensuring compliance with quality requirements and managing the business Quality Management System.
Serving as an authority on all quality-related matters.
Conducting internal (Product, Process) and external (Supplier) quality audits.
Hosting accreditation and customer audits when needed.
Managing non-conformances and root cause corrective actions.
Maintaining quality records and documents through document control.
Monitoring quality metrics using Process Effectiveness Assessment Reports (PEARs).
Staying informed about external standards and regulatory requirements.
Applying Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), process mapping, Quality Control Plans (QCP), and Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA).
Creating First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), Supplier Quality defect reports, concessions, and deviations.
Managing calibration of precision measuring equipment.

Professional/Educational Qualifications:

HNC/HND in Engineering or relevant experience.

Relevant Work/Other Experience:
3 years working in precision engineering and/or quality background.
Proficiency in using handheld inspection measuring tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres, height gauges, shadowgraphs).
Understanding of modern CNC machining manufacturing processes and familiarity with process tooling and fixtures.
Working knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) is desirable.
Experience with part and process evaluation, qualification, control, and capability (APQP, PPAP, Control Plans).
