About the Role:

Are you an experienced Logistics Account Manager with a strong background in third-party logistics (3PL)? We are working with a leading logistics provider in the East Midlands that is looking to add a talented and proactive Account Manager to their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop key client accounts, ensuring high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships and understanding their logistics needs.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of solutions.
  • Analyse client data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and present regular account reviews and reports, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth and profitability.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager within the 3PL or broader logistics sector.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively, delivering exceptional service under pressure.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and managing service level agreements.
