The Role: Our client is seeking an ambitious and motivated Senior Account Manager (SAM) to oversee a variety of digital and social media projects. The work involves managing strategy, content creation, paid media, corporate reputation, and thought leadership for several key clients.

The ideal candidate will handle 4 to 5 accounts at a time, taking responsibility for both organic and paid media campaigns. This includes managing substantial media budgets, campaign optimization, A/B testing, data analysis, and reporting. Developing strategies, tracking industry trends, and competitor insights are essential to the role.

There are ample opportunities for involvement in new business efforts, including pitching, and contributing to the development of proposals and strategies for broader agency clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and managing multiple digital campaigns across both organic and paid media with budgets ranging from 4 to 6 figures.
  • Sharing data, insights, and trends with clients and the wider team to leverage new developments.
  • Prioritizing and managing client expectations on campaign performance and results.
  • Delivering monthly and quarterly performance reports for client campaigns.
  • Leading collaboration across teams within the agency to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Upholding creative and strategic excellence in response to client briefs.
  • Delegating effectively and managing team workloads.
  • Mentoring team members to help them achieve their career goals and objectives.
  • Actively participating in new business activities, from evaluating opportunities to leading pitch teams.


Requirements:

  • Experience working with both B2B and B2C clients across industries.
  • At least three years of experience in digital media strategy, planning, and media buying with a strong understanding of ad platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn.
  • Previous experience in an agency environment at Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level.
  • Expertise in digital channels including PPC, SEO, content marketing, social media, and programmatic advertising.
  • Experience handling large media budgets (in excess of £500k annually).
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills with experience engaging with senior-level clients.
  • Proven commercial acumen with a history of increasing revenues and managing major brand campaign budgets.
  • Experience in participating in new business pitches.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in social and digital media reporting (essential).
  • Ability to collaborate with creative teams to develop content strategies that incorporate social trends and the latest industry developments.
