Purpose of the role

To support the D2C Ecommerce Logistics daily operations following outbound order and return processing as well as closely monitoring in transit through customs. Being a key point of contact for customer service issues that have been escalated to Logistics.


Responsibilities

  • Daily outbound order monitoring, closely tracking shipments in transit
  • Daily return order monitoring, closely tracking shipments in transit
  • Resolving any Customs issues during clearance processing
  • Working closely with courier partners to investigate any shipment claims
  • Provide relevant documentation to assist in clearing shipments through Customs
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Private Client departments to resolve Logistics related customer queries or issues relating to their orders and/or returns
  • Liaising with 3PL, based in Europe daily and responding to any queries regarding orders
  • Manage and effectively resolve any customer claims for return or repair; coordinating with Production teams
  • Invoice administration
  • Working with Logistics Coordinator to monitor warehouse SLAs for order picking, packing and return processing
  • Supporting the department and management with any administrative and adhoc requests
  • Where needed, supporting with departmental administration including travel arrangements, expenses etc.


Qualifications, Skills, Experience Required

  • Experience within the luxury fashion industry ideal
  • 1-2 years Logistics experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of Incoterms
  • Basic knowledge of customs clearance procedures
  • Basic knowledge of excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on multiple priorities
  • Strong initiative, taking ownership of tasks and follow-through
  • Passionate about work with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Flexibility to travel to European warehouse
  • Italian language is a plus
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
