We are conducting a confidential executive search for a dynamic and visionary leader to spearhead a prestigious pensions consulting business. This pivotal role demands a blend of strategic foresight, people leadership, and business acumen to drive the organization forward in a rapidly evolving industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a diverse team of Actuaries, Pensions Consultants (DB & DC), Investment Consultants, and Corporate Pensions Consultants. Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, winning hearts and minds across the organization.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the business, identifying current needs and projecting future requirements over the next 3 to 5 years. Ensure the business remains at the forefront of industry developments and client expectations.
  • Product and Proposition Development: Oversee the development of innovative products and propositions that meet market demands. Drive continuous improvement and differentiation in the market.
  • Business Development: Leverage your expertise to attract and secure high-ticket consulting clients. Formulate compelling market propositions and structure the business to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Change and Transformation: Lead significant change and business transformation initiatives, ensuring the organization is agile, resilient, and well-positioned for sustained success.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the pensions consulting industry or a related field.
  • Exceptional people leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and engage teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong strategic thinker with a track record of formulating and executing successful business strategies.
  • Expertise in product and proposition development, with a keen understanding of market trends and client needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to win high-value consulting clients and drive business growth.
  • Excellent change and business transformation skills, with a proven ability to manage and implement significant organizational change.
