We are hiring a Senior Project Manager/Delivery Manager for our fast-growing Modern Workplace (MP) and Infrastructure and App (I&A) Practices.


This role will be accountable for the overall delivery of all our client projects, in terms of quality, profitability, meeting agreed timelines, resource effectiveness, achieving customer satisfaction quality ratings and ensuring every delivery is a client reference.


The role encompasses a strategic view for all cost and commercial aspects of the WP/I&A portfolio and be the gatekeeper into the wider Practice for FinOps and commercial management. Governing and tracking the multitude of WP/I&A strategic deliveries that include existing and future delivery across the global business that are a stakeholder or prime delivery partner.


Essential skills needed for this role:

  • People management and supporting the Workplace and I&A peer level and wider programme teams to drive ways of working and operating in a pragmatic, agile way: being able to coach and manage our people in an effective, transparent and collaborative manner.
  • Commercial management: key to the role is managing our partners, vendors, 3rd party providers and the commercial aspects of those relationships: vendor management skills critical to driving the right level of negotiation and partnership that provides our global services with our procurement division
  • Programme management: Understanding programme and portfolio management across our practices and peer landscapes required to ensure that critical paths, funding and dependencies are mapped and agreed subject to formal governance and PMO management.
  • Delivery management providing a quality assurance lens on deliveries across the portfolio and peer TechOps organizations.
  • Being a key sponsor for technology development, management and governance
  • Leads by example and encourages the team to maintain excellent visibility of industry wide trends and emerging technologies/vendors and ensures that the team understands and utilize developments to the benefit of the company
  • An open collaborator that shares and coaches their colleagues and works proactively inside their immediate and peer teams


Skills and qualifications:

  • Strength and depth in understanding MP & I&A processes and capabilities, ideally from a client perspective.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading a portfolio of delivery projects, using a combination of onshore & offshore resources
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Has an industry recognised project management qualification - Prince 2, APM Practitioner or Certified Scrum Master; and/or has V3 or V4 ITIL Certification (Expert level preferred)
  • Previous consultancy experiance would be preferred
