Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in planning, executing, and optimising marketing campaigns across various digital channels. The candidate should possess strong content creation and analytical skills and be able to identify areas for improvement in past marketing strategies. Experience in the engineering and industrial automation sector is preferred. The Marketing Executive will work closely with the Group Marketing Manager to develop and implement effective marketing strategies for a group of engineering companies.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Group Marketing Manager to oversee, assist with, and manage marketing and digital strategies for a group of engineering companies.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of email and social media campaigns from ideation to launch.
  • Coordinate & create long form content, including but not limited to white papers, blog articles, news articles & press releases.
  • Assist in the management & update of company websites, including uploading new product data, uploading news/blog articles & building landing pages.
  • Work with the Group Marketing Manager to generate innovative marketing ideas and initiatives to increase sales and drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement your own marketing strategies that align with the overall marketing goals defined by the Group Marketing Manager.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing strategies in collaboration with the Group Marketing Manager and other team members.
  • Assist the Group Marketing Manager in enhancing the digital standards of the group's marketing efforts.
  • Assist in the coordination of trade events & exhibitions, including but not limited to creating literature, invitations, graphics, press releases & liaising with external suppliers.
  • Analyse current and past marketing strategies, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary fixes to optimise performance.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and technology.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and managing marketing campaigns from ideation to completion, including reporting on performance.
  • Strong copywriting & proof reading skills.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for B2B businesses.
  • Ideally proficient in using the Adobe Suite of products, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Ideally have experience marketing for engineering and industrial automation companies, however not essential as full training will be given.
  • Track record of providing excellent ROI through the implementation of effective marketing strategies.

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours p/w. Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 16:30 with a 30-minute lunch break
  • Hybrid role (2 days at home, 3 from our Nuneaton Office).
