The firm prides itself on its honest and personalised approach to its clients.

Your new role
This VAT Manager role is heavy on the advisory side. Looking for someone to come in at the manager level and help with the work load they have now. The firm has seen more work coming in, and with the departure of a long-established team member, they have decided to look for an assistant manager. The role will see you assisting with the management and development of the junior members of staff, while undertaking VAT reviews and due diligence. With this, there is also the role of drafting instructions to tax counsel around liability, structuring and dispute matters. While this role is an advisory focus, there is an essence of compliance that comes with it.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Must have practice experience
  • Must have good VAT technical knowledge
  • Must have a strong ability to use IT software (Including Microsoft Word, Excell and Outlook)
  • You will ideally have around 5 years + of VAT experience.
