The Opportunity
You will be a big part of this critical “outsourced sales” function. Your primary goal is to secure significant annuity “outsourced deals,” both with existing clients and prospects. Core services include Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Managed Service Provision (MSP), but there’s also a focus on Early Career Programmes, Total Talent Solutions (TTS), and facilitating work across our entire portfolio of services.
What can I expect day to day?
This role will be responsible for sales planning and execution, shaping our solutions offering, proactively developing new opportunities, engaging and prospecting core clients and managing sales leads through. This is at a senior engagement level for our major programme sales. This could include:
- Develop and execute the sales plan against 2 sectors, including industry sector targeting, marketing strategies, and go-to-market messaging.
- Represent Hays as a corporate partner, demonstrating a mature, consultative, and flexible approach to solution design.
- Understand complex recruitment propositions and present them in a straightforward manner to less-expert audiences.
- Network well internally to gain a volume of warm lead opportunities
- Ensure alignment between the sales proposition and operational delivery model throughout the process.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to connect with prospects in the defined target market.
- Network at Board, Senior Executive, and Director levels.
- Lead Hays sales teams from opportunity identification to appointment, maximizing fee opportunities and profit.
- Design and deliver operational models, propositions, and strategies.
- Manage proposal submissions, negotiations, and contract signings.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone from either a senior recruitment background, we would also consider established recruitment leaders who are passionate about client engagement. An individual with a high level of enthusiasm and a solutions focused mindset would suit well in this role, you may also need:
- Proven track record in a high performing Sales or Operational environment
- Excellent leadership skills
- Sound knowledge and interest of outsourcing (MSP, RPO).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Tenacity and a focus on overachievement.
- Creative and consultative approach to identifying business drivers.
- Ability to able to deal at various functions and levels including Procurement and HR
