We are looking for an experienced Project Director to join our dynamic team and drive our projects to success.


Job Summary:

The Project Director will oversee the management and execution of CAT A and CAT B fit out projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will lead a team of project managers, coordinators, and support staff, and will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of site team, coordinators, and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and implement project management best practices and standards.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of CAT A and CAT B fit out projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.

Client Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to provide project updates and gather feedback.

Financial Management:

  • Manage project budgets, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on financial performance.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring profitability.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the senior management team.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance and quality control.



Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the fit out industry, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing CAT A and CAT B fit out projects up to £10 million.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing project budgets in excess of £10 million.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
